Devoted father of Elaine and her husband Bob Damigella of East Bridgewater, Jane Palermo of Hyde Park, Paul and his wife Diane of Sandwich, Diane Palermo of Woburn, Carol Palermo and her husband Dale Julius of Braintree, and the late Robert. Brother of Hilda Porcaro of Easton and the late Richard Palermo, Katherine Caputo, and Grace Polizzi. Also survived by 9 grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Carroll-Thomas Funeral Home, 22 Oak Street, HYDE PARK, Wednesday morning at 8AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Most Precious Blood Church, Hyde Park at 9AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8pm. Late WWII Army veteran involved in the liberation of the Buchenwald Concentration Camp.
