Varney, JoAnn J. (Sanborn) of Jamaica Plain December 4, 2013 surrounded by her loving family, age 72. Beloved wife of Joe of 40 years. Cherished daughter of the late Richard and Adrienne Sanborn. Devoted mother and Grammy of JoAnn, Melissa, Heather, Joey, Jeremy, Kelly, Danielle, Scott, Ava, Madison, Nicholas, Nate, Little Joey, Adriana, Kylee, and the late Deborah McPhee. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends. Visiting hours will be held Monday morning from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at the Carroll-Thomas Funeral Home, 22 Oak Street, HYDE PARK followed by a service at the funeral home at 12:00 P.M.
