Alice I. Cook, age 65, of Kendallville, Indiana and formerly
of Howe, Indiana died Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at 2:30 A.M. at Shepherd of Hill Nursing Home in Kendallville, Indiana.
She was born on May 22, 1943 in Ashley, Indiana to George & Arlene (Phillips) Wisel.
Mrs. Cook graduated from Ogden high Scholl in Ogden, Illinois in 1961. She had been a member
of the Easgles and the Order of the Eastern Star in LaGrange, Indiana. She was also a member of the Lima Presbyterian
Church in Howe, Indiana.
She married David A. Cook on November
12, 1965. He preceeded her in death in 2005.
Surviving
are 4 sons - Ernest Cook of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Steven Cook of Howe, Indiana, Shawn Cook of Ligonier, Indiana and Edward
A. Wisel of Avilla, Indiana. 2 brothers - G. Ned Wisel of Garrett, Indiana and George E. Wisel of Carmel, Indiana.
1 sister - Mrs. William (Georgette) Berry of Spencerville, Indiana. 6 Grandchildren and 4 Great-Grandchildren.
Calling will be at the funeral home on Saturday, September 27, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. A memorial service
will follow at 4:00 P.M. Cremains will be buried in Riverside Cemetery in Howe, Indiana at a later date.
Memorials may be given to the LaGrange County Cancer Society
or Shepherd of the Hill Nursing Home.
