Lillian M. "Susie" Rider of 7440 E 250 N, LaGrange, Indiana, died at 5:00 a.m. April 29, 2008 at her residence.

She was born March 25, 1951, in Garrett, Indiana to Earl E. and Minnie (Peters) Cook.  She married Marshall Rider in August 1993 in Sturgis, Michigan.  He preceeds her in death.

She was previously employed as a CSM at Walmart, a Nurses Aid, a Bartender and a Social Worker for LaGrange County.  She was a member of the Mt. Zion Luther Church in LaGrange.  She was also a former member of the Eagles, Moose and the American Legion.

Surviving are two sons, Ronald Cook of Joplin, Missouri, Shawn Dague and (Amy Smith) of Sturgis, Michigan;  Mother, Mildred Harris of LaGrange, Indiana; two sisters, Ruby Souers of LaGrange, Indiana, Jeanette Blair of LaGrange, Indiana; one sister-in-law, Alice Cook of Kendallville, Indiana; two grandchildren, Devin Michelle and Joshua Allen Dague of Sturgis, Michigan; one niece, Nicole Blair of Burr Oak, Michigan; five nephews, Jeff and Jonathan Souers, Ernie, Shawn and Steve Cook.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers - William Cook, David Cook and Earl (Cookie) Cook Jr., one sister - Delores Smith Bolander, Father - Ralph (Bud) Harris.

Services will be at 4:00 p.m. Saturday May 3, 2008 at Carney-Frost Funeral Home, LaGrange, with the Deacon George Douglas of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, LaGrange Indiana officiating.  Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Saturday, May 3, 2008 at the funeral home.  Memorials may be directed to the Rider Family.
