LaGrange - Vivian E. Marks, 90, of LaGrange died Thursday, March 6, 2008 of natural causes at Life Care Center of LaGrange.
Mrs. Marks was a homemaker her whole life. Along with being a homemaker, she enjoyed crossword puzzles, sewing
and flowers.
She was born October 5, 1917, in LaGrange County to Virgil and Eva (Rossman) Marks. She married
Richard D. Marks on September 30, 1944, in LaGrange. He preceded her in death on July 17, 2005.
Surviving
are two sons, Richard Marks Jr of LaGrange and Maurice Marks of Brown County; one daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and John
"Bud" Hopper of LaGrange; three sisters and brother-in-law, Hilda Baird of LaGrange, Carol and Richard Wagner
of Huntertown, and Mildred Zollman of Olympia, Washington; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Kenneth Marks of Auburn
and Wayne and Gloria Marks of LaGrange; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-gret grandchild.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Keith Marks.
Services will be at 11:00
a.m. Monday at Carney-Frost Funeral Home, LaGrange, with the Rev. Brian VanOsdol of LaGrange First Church of God officiating.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, LaGrange. Calling will be from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials
may be directed to the charity of donor's choice.
