Hilda L. Engle, 98, LaGrange, formerly of Shipshewana, died Saturday, February 24, 2008, at Miller's Merry
Manor of LaGrange.
She was born August 3, 1909, To Holly and Elsie (Long) Marsh. Moving from Swan Township
in Noble County to the LaGrange area 50 years ago, she was a homemaker.
She was married September 26, 1931 in Jackson,
Mich., to Dallas Engle. He preceeded her in death on July 10, 1988.
Surviving are one daughter, Rosemary
Young, Nevada; three grandchildren, Christopher DeGroot, Michael DeGroot, and Lisa Allred, all of California.
She
was preceeded in death by two brothers, Dale Marsh and Everett Marsh.
Visitation is 1-2 p.m. Saturday at Carney-Frost
Funeral Home in LaGrange. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Associate Pastor Denise Heller officiating.
