She was born September 30, 1925 in St. Louis, Mo., a daughter of Leslie and
Georgia (Parrish) Westbrook.
She married Donald LaMotte in 1941 and he preceded her in death in 1953. She
then married James Rumsey in 1956 and he preceded her in death in 1998.
Mrs. Ruey retird from Kin Seely in Kendallville
and also worked at Essex in Ligonier. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and card games.

David and Catina LaMotte, Jr of Garrett, Ind., Chris and Carla LaMotte, Kendallville, Ind., Jeremy and Tanya Holliday, Travers
City, Mich., Candi and Will Braun, Columbus, Oh., Erin Delong and Ben, Auburn, Ind., Brandon Rumsey, Huson, Ind., Christina
Diedo, Devils Lake, Mich., Thomas Pecar, Mancelona, Mich., 18 Great-Grandchildren and several Nieces and Nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday Feb. 16, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Carney-Frost Funeral Home in LaGrange
with Pastor Mike McKinney of the Rome City Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Brushy Chapel Cemetery in
LaGrange County.
