She was born on Oct. 1, 1927, in Stroh, Ind., a daughter of Clifton and Sarah (Wilson) Leas.
She married Leonard E. Frick on Sept. 29, 1946 in Salem Center. He preceded her in death on June 17, 2000.
Dorothy formerly worked as a waitress at the Glass House Restaurant in Howe. She enjoyed reading, embroidering
and spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are: one son, Larry Frick of Angola: four daughters and
sons-in-laws, Mary Jane and Don Musser of Waterloo, Gerri and Jim Idalski of LaGrange, Sherry and Earl De Pew of Mongo, and
Terri and Max Clipfell of Syracuse: a sister, Esther Pairan of Orland, 12 Grandchildren and 14 Great-Grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, preceding her in death were a daughter, Cheryl Lynn Frick in 1972, a sister,
Hilda Watts, and a brother, Duwayne Leas.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the Carney-Frost Funeral
Home in LaGrange. Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Hyre of the Messiah Fellowship
in Brighton officiating. Burial will be in Woodruff Cemetery, Woodruff, Ind.
