Cynthia A. Lumbard, age 77, of 6890 N 320 E, Howe, IN died Sunday December 5, 2011 at her home.  She was born December 13, 1934 in Grand Rapids, MI to Kent B. & Vivian (Glime) Lumbard.  Cynthia chose a career as a Social worker and worked in the state of Michigan for various counties during this time.  In 1995 she and Joan Porter opened  Lum's Pizza in Howe, IN and owned and operated it for 10 years.  She was a member of the Holy Angels Catholic Church in Sturgis, MI.  She is survived by; 1 daughter - Kimberly Lumbard of Howe, In.  1 son - Daniel Lumbard of Howe, IN.  5 grandchildren - Denylle Lumbard, Timothy Abbott, Kayla Sivertson, Nathan Lumbard and Bryson Lumbard.  4 great grandchildren.  The funeral service will be held on Saturday December 10, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Carney-Frost Funeral Home, LaGrange, In with the Father German Perez-Diaz of the Holy Angels Catholic Church, Sturgis, MI officiating.  Visitation will be from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. prior to the funeral service.  Arrangements are by Carney-Frost Funeral Home, LaGrange,  IN.
