Donald R. Ward, 57, of Orland, IN died Monday November 28, 2011 at his residence.  He was born on September 24, 1954 in Gary, IN to Richard C & Elizabeth J. (Gericke) Ward.  He married Michele M. Anglemeyer on November 21, 1987 in LaGrange, IN.  He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and served from November 21, 1973 to September  1, 1976.  Donald was a self employed independent truck driver.  He was a member of the Pleasant Hill Missionary Church in Bronson, MI.  He was a servant of the Lord and a family man.  He is survived by his mother, wife,  3 sons - Jason A. & Stacey Adkins of Elkhart, IN and Tommy E. Adkins of Bunker Hill, IN and Austin Padgett at home.  1 brother - Theodore C. Ward of Elkhart, IN.  5 sisters - Janet & David Krauser of Elkhart, IN, Carol Trovatore of Elkhart, IN, Judith Ward of Tulsa, OK, JoAnne Ward-Selmon & David Selman of Goshen, IN and Barbara Wise of Bristol, IN.  4 grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his father.  Viewing will be held on Friday December 2, 2011 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Pleasant Hill Missionary Church, Bronson, MI.  Funeral services with military rites will be on Saturday December 3, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the church with the pastors Don Matteson and Cory Weatherton officiating.  Military rites will be performed by the American Legion Post #215.  Burial will be at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Pleasant Hill Missionary Church, Bronson, MI.  Carney-Frost Funeral Home, LaGrange, IN is in charge of the arrangements.
