Gary M. Carney, 63, of 406 Maple St., LaGrange, IN died Monday November 28, 2011 at Parkview Main Hospital, Fort Wayne, IN. He was born on January 5, 1948 in Albany, IN to Milo & Betty (Butler) Carney. He married Linda Thompson on June 27, 1980 in LaGrange, IN. She survives. Gary attended 4 years of college in Muncie, IN where he earned his Journeyman in Tool & Die. He had worked all his life as a Tool & Die Maker until he retired. He is survived by; his wife, Linda Carney. 2 sons - Brad Carney of Middlebury, IN and Jason Watts of Sturgis, MI. 2 daughters - Heather Boolman of Geneva, IN and Tara Caldwell of Napolean, ND. 1 sister - Diana Thomas of Goshen, IN and 10 grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Friday December 2, 2011 from 2 to 3 p.m. at Carney-Frost Funeral Home, LaGrange, IN with a memorial service immediately following at 3 p.m. with the Pastor Ken Weaver officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, LaGrange, IN at a later date. Carney-Frost Funeral Home, LaGrange, IN is in charge of the arrangements.
