Evelyn M. Eash, age 83, of 151 Lyter Road, Bronson, MI died Tuesday November 8, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. at her residence.  She was born on February 27, 1928 in LaGrange, IN to William S. & Mary R. (Holcomb) Carney.  She married Amos Eash on September 15, 1951 in LaGrange, IN.  He preceded her in death on June 20, 2003.  Evelyn was a graduate of the LaGrange High School in LaGrange, IN and had worked as a press operator at the Sturgis Newport Factory for 26 years until her retirement in August 1999.  She is survived by her son, James & Lynnell Eash of Bronson, MI, several nieces and nephews and her dog Misty who she has had for many years.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 5 sisters - Mabel Kurtz, Hazell Wallace, Anna Belle Weible, Ruth Andersen and Esther Hart.  1 brother - Ernest L. Carney.  2 nephews - Billy Wallace and Baby boy Weible.  2 nieces - Beverly Jean and Mary Alice.  Visitation will be held on Friday November 11, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Carney-Frost Funeral Home, LaGrange, IN.  The funeral Service will be held on Saturday November 12, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home with the pastor David Grimm of the St Paul's Lutheran Church, Colon, MI officiating.  Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, LaGrange, IN.  Memorials may be given to:  H & C Burnside Center, 65 Grahl Dr. Coldwater, MI  49036.  Checks should be made payable to BCCOA.  Carney-Frost Funeral Home, LaGrange, IN is in charge of the arrangements.
