Guy H. Nealis, age 98, (Formerly of Big Turkey Lake) died Wednesday October 26, 2011 at 11:49 a.m. at The Maples at Waterford Crossing Circle, Goshen, IN.  He was born on April 8, 1913 in Shelbyville, KY to Thomas W. & Lottie (Conway) Nealis.  He married Clara Athalea Smyser on December 31, 1933.  she preceded him in death on February 10, 2000.  He later married Freda Axley on May 15, 2001, she survives in LaGrange, IN.  Guy owned and operated the Colonial Barber Shop in Marion, IN for 43 years until his retirement.  He was a member of the Methodist Church and the Barbers Union.  He is survived by his wife, 7 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Clara, 4 brother - Luther, Orville, Earl and Leonard Nealis.  1 son - Dain Nealis on November 10, 1976 and 1 daughter - Minnetta Hooker on May 22, 2008.  A private family viewing and funeral service will be held.  Burial will be in Grant Memorial Park, Marion, IN.  Arrangements are by Carney-Frost Funeral Home, Lagrange, IN.
