Betty L. Stutzman, age 84, died Monday September 19, 2011 at 1:44 P.M. at Life Care Center, LaGrange, IN.  She was born on July 16, 1927 to Henry O. & Amy M. (Yoder) Hooley.  She married Ray Stutzman.  He preceded her in death on April 3, 2000.  Betty lived most of life in LaGrange County and was a homemaker.  She enjoyed sewing, gardening and her grandchildren.  She was a member of the CB Club and was known by others as Turtle Dove.  She was very active in fundraising and ministering to youth groups and homes.  Her passion was helping as many people as she could.  She is survived by; 2 sons - Richard L. & Judy Stutzman of LaGrange and Michael R. & Gwen Stutzman of Goshen, IN.  1 daughter - Amy J. & Loren Bentz of Woodburn, IN.  10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 5 brothers - Orvin, Richard, Victor, Lee and Bill Hooley.  1 sister - Ethel M. Raber.  2 grandchildren - Jennifer A. Stutzman and Michelle Scott.  Visitation will be held on Thursday September 22, 2011 from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 P.M. at Carney-Frost Funeral Home, LaGrange, IN.  The funeral service will be held on Friday September 23, 2011 at 1:00 P.M at the funeral home with the Pastor Sam Weimer of the Independent Full Gospel Church in Ashley, IN.  Burial will be in Shore Cemetery, Shipshewana, IN.  Memorials may be given to the LaGrange Cancer Society.  Arrangements are by Carney-Frost Funeral Home, LaGrange, IN.
