Michael J. Schuhler, age 60, of 201 ½ S. Detroit St., LaGrange, IN died Wednesday July 6, 2011 at his residence. He was born January 24th, 1951 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Robert H. & Alice (Farrout) Schuhler, Sr. Michael erved in the United States Marine Corps and the United States Navy from 1968-1991. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and loved Nascar. He is survived by; 1 son - Michael Joseph Schuhler Jr of Harrisonville, MO. 2 sisters - Sandy Cranfill of Lagrange and Rose Anne Lower of Big Turkey Lake. 3 grandchildren - Michael Joseph Schuhler III, Kayla Maureen Schuhler, and Cade Luis Schuhler. He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother - Robert Schuhler. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday July 13, 2011 at Carney-Frost Funeral Home, LaGrange, IN with a memorial service immediately following at 11:00 a.m. with the Father Andy Martinez of the St Joseph Catholic Church officiating. Military rites will be performed by the American legion post #215, LaGrange, IN. Arrangements are by Carney-Frost Funeral Home, LaGrange, IN.
