John Christopher Bird, age 49, of 7770 E 100 N., LaGrange, IN died Saturday April 23, 2011 at 1:45 a.m. at his residence.  He was born on march 11, 1962 in Benton Harbor, MI to George & Barbara (Hallam) Bird.  He was a 1980 Graduate of Coldwater High School in Coldwater, MI.  He married Leanna M Burlew on June 25, 1988.  She survives.  Also surviving are 5 daughters - Andrea Hill, & fiancée Andrew Goodwin, Amanda Rhodes & fiancée  Jonathan Kelley, Kayla Bird, Kelsey Bird and Christa Bird.  3 sisters - Victoria Wolfinger, Deborah Johnson and Barbara Morford,  5 brothers -  George Bird, Daniel Bird, Frank Bird, Paul Bird, Jason Bird.  2 sister-in-laws - Julie Bird and Angie Robertson.  2 brother-in-laws - Daniel Burlew and Robert Burlew.  6 grandchildren -  Aiden, Alex, Noah, Ariana, Trenton and Jeremiah.  Several nieces & nephews.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday April 26, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Lake Missionary Church, 9030 W US Hwy 20, Angola, IN.  The funeral service will be held on Wednesday April 27, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at the church with the Pastor Lance Witham and Associate Pastor Mike Cain officiating.  Burial will be in Mongo Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Carney-Frost Funeral Home, LaGrange, IN.
