Calvin D. Fleming, age 78, of 6445 N 300 E., Howe, Indiana died Thursday October 21, 2010 at 10:30 P.M. at Parkview LaGrange Hospital, LaGrange, IN. He was born in Livingston, TN on April 8, 1932 to Winfred D. & Glena C. (Myers) Fleming. He married Marion C. (Carroll) Fleming in 1965. She preceded him in death on January 24, 2007. Calvin was formerly employed as a truck driver for a number of companies. Most recently, Weiss Trucking in Mongo, IN retiring after an accident in 1979. He was a former member of the Local Teamsters #7 and of the LaGrange and Middleton CB Club and was known as the night owl. He enjoyed working on CB's. He was survived by; 1 daughter - Brenda & James Stambaugh - Howe, IN. 2 sons - Robert & Melissa Fleming - New Mexico and Jeffrey & Pamela Smith - Lebanon, MO. 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in Death by: His Parents, wife and 1 brother - John Fleming in 2006. Visitation will be held on Wednesday October 27, 2010 from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at Carney-Frost Funeral Home, LaGrange, IN. The funeral service will be held on Thursday October 28, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home with the Pastor Denise Heller of the LaGrange United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Miller Cemetery, Middletown, IN. Arrangements are by Carney-Frost Funeral Home, LaGrange, IN.
