Edith M. Mroch, 79, of Shipshewana, Indiana, passed away at 4:55 a.m. on Monday September 20, 2010 at her home.  Edith was born on May 30, 1931 in New Prague, Minnesota to Frederick & Mildred (Houska) Matchka. She married Raymond M. Mroch on June 18, 1948 in Des Plains. Illinois.  He preceded her in death in 1959.  Edith worked most of her life as a retail clerk at Jewell Food in Illinois.  She loved Gardening and Frogs and was a very avid reader.  She is survived by;  1 son - Raymond Mroch of Rockford, IL.  2 daughters - David & Linda Maether of Shipshewana, IN and Millicent & Dan Murray of Plainfield, IL.  1 sister - Janet Kilmartin of Jacksonville, FL.  8 Grandchildredn and 8 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 sister Marvel Claussen.  Visitation will be held from 3-6 p.m. on Thursday September 23, 2010 at Carney-Frost Funeral Home, LaGrange, IN.  A memorial service will take place at 6:00 p.m. immediate following the visitation with the Rev. Kenneth Weaver officiating.  Arrangements are by Carney-Frost Funeral Home, LaGrange, IN.
