James L. Tackett, age 24, of 11804 N. SR 3, Kendallville, IN died Monday August 23, 2010 at 4:52 a.m. due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident in LaGrange, IN.  He was born on September 12, 1985 in Kendallville, IN to Walker and Lynda (Miller) Tackett. He was a 2004 graduate from East Noble High School and was formerly employed at Star Craft in Goshen, IN.  He liked fishing and was an avid morel mushroom hunter. He is survived by;  his father & stepmother - Walker & Willa D. Tackett of Kendallville, IN.  3 sisters - Anna Pack and Patty Vanhoose both of Paintsville, KY and Elizabeth Mason of Rome City, IN.  2 brothers - Emmons J. Tackett and Walker J. Tackett both of Powhatan, VA.  He was preceded in death by;  his mother in 2008 and 1 brother - Charles L. Tackett in 2002.  Visitation for James will be held on Friday August 27, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. til 10:00 p.m. at the House of Prayer Baptist Church, SR 327 Corunna IN.  The funeral service will be held on Saturday August 28, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the church with Pastor Earl Tackett, Earl Bolen and David Bolen officiating.  Burial will be in Corunna Cemetery, Corunna, IN.  Memorials for James may be given to:  The House of Prayer Baptist Church, Corunna, IN.  Arrangements are by Carney-Frost Funeral Home, LaGrange, IN.
