Gale Hayward, age 70, of 412 N. High St., LaGrange, IN died Monday August 16, 2010 at 11:27 a.m. at Parkview LaGrange Hospital.  He was born on July 26, 1940 in Sturgis, MI to Cecil & Dorothy (Brown) Hayward.  He married Janice Bellaire on June 26, 1960 in LaGrange, IN and recently celebrated their 50^th wedding anniversary.  She survives in LaGrange.  Gale had worked as a machinist all of his life until retirement.  He is survived by;  his wife, 3 daughters - Tammy Hayward of Howe, IN.  Debra & (Jack) Plyley of Oliver Lake, IN.  Janelle & (Tom) Brandebury of Burr Oak, MI.  6 Grandchidren - Jacki, Jana & Jace Plyley, Derek Hayward, Michael Brandebury, Michelle & Daniel Cook.  1 great grandchild - Hannah.  He was preceded in death by;  his parents and 1 sister - Margaret A. Snyder.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday August 18, 2010 from 4 - 8 p.m. at Carney-Frost Funeral Home, LaGrange, IN.  The funeral service will be held on Thursday August 19, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with the Reverend Carldean Merrifield officiating.
