Arnold F. Connelly, age 87, of LaGrange, IN died at his residence on Tuesday August 10, 2010 at 9:00 p.m.  He was born on March 22, 1923 to Floyd & Eva (Todd) Connelly in LaGrange, IN.  He married Lila C. Sheets on June 5, 1943 in LaGrange, IN.  She preceded him in death on September 29, 2009.  Arnold had previously worked at LaGrange Hospital and retired from Dometic Corporation and was an active farmer for most of his life.  He enjoyed gardening and sharing with everyone.  He was an avid Fisherman and Lakeland Lakers Basketball Fan.  He is survived by; 1 son - Roger & Sherry Connelly - Three Rivers, MI.  5 daughters - Sandy & Robert Yoder of LaGrange, IN.  Diane & Fritz Schlemmer of LaGrange, IN.  Susan & Mark Dempsey of Wolcottvlle, IN.  Ann & Thomas Pomeroy of Columbus, Montana and Sherry & Robert Ballard of Howe, IN.  4 sister in laws - Ruth Connelly, Irene Niece, Virginia & Don Peterson and Judy Parsons.   Brother in law - Duane Sheets.  12 Grandchildren and several Great Grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by;  His parents, wife and 1 brother - Harold Connelly.  The family will receive friends from 1 - 3 p.m. on Sunday August 22, 2010 with a memorial service at 3:00 p.m. at Carney-Frost Funeral Home, LaGrange, IN with the Rev.
