Marie Patterson, age 84, of 4192 N 230 E, Howe, IN died at 12:30 A.M. on Monday April 19, 2010 at her residence.
She was born on December 15, 1925 in Knott County, KY to James & Celia (Terry) Patrick. She married Daniel G. Patterson
on October 23, 1943 in Bulan, KY. He preceded her in death on November 30, 1992. Marie was a homemaker all of
her life. She is survived by; 1 daughter - Durma L. Butcher of Howe, In, 11 grandchildren - Danny & Tara Patterson,
Donald and Christine Patterson, Rhonda Patterson, Paula and Bob Hill, Lola Patterson, Jamie and Bobby Hankinson, Dana and
Matthew Fisk , Raschael and Jon Whatley, James Edward Elliot Jr and Michael Smith Patterson. 15 great grandchildren
and 8 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 sons - Billy James and Bobby Joe
Patterson, 1 daughter - Patty Lou Elliot and 14 brothers and sisters. Visitation will be held on Wednesday April 21,
from 11:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the New Freedon Baptist Church, LaGrange, IN. Visitation will also be held on Friday,
April 23, 2010 from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hindman Funeral Services, Hindman, KY. The funeral service will be
held on Saturday April 24, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Hindman Funeral Services, Hindman, KY. Burial will be in the Patrick
Cemetery, Bearsville, KY. Carney-Frost Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
