Willis E. Hochstetler, age 88, of 2675 E 150 N, LaGrange, IN died Sunday April 18, 2010 at 5:30 A.M. at his residence. He was born on April 22, 1921 in Nappanee, IN to Eli J. & Sarah (Miller) Hochstetler. He married Katie J. Lehman in Middlebury, IN on November 13, 1941. She survives in LaGrange. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church. He is survived by; his wife, 6 sons - Irvin & (Ada) Hochstetler of Ashland, OH, Wli & (Fannie Mae) Hochstetler of LaGrange, IN, Wesley & (Mary) Hochstetler of LaGrange, IN, Joseph & (Vera Jean) Hochstetler of Nappanee, IN, John Henry & (Christene) Hochstetler of Goshen, IN and Daniel W. Hochstetler of LaGrange, IN. 5 Daughters - Barbara Ann Graber of Geneva, IN, Sara Mae Miller of Potosi, WI, Miriam & (Joseph P.) Hochstetler of Hillsboro, WI, Elizabeth & (Josph R.) Kauffman of Holton, MI and Sylvia Shayler of Shipshewana, IN. 5 Brothers - Jesses & (Wilma) Hochstetler of Nappanee, Omer & (Wilma) Hochstetler of Milford, IN, Lonnie & (Verba) Hochstetler of Nappanee, IN, Marvin & (Lorraine) Hochstetler of Goshen, IN and Earl & (Irma) Hochstetler of Nappanee, IN. 4 sisters - Verda Hochstetler of Nappanee, IN, Lovina & (Chris) Miller of Middlebury, IN, Mattie Yoder of Bittinger, MD and Ellen Chupp of Nappanee, IN. 1 brother-in-law - Henry Lehman, 1 sister-in-law - Vera Hochstetler. 75 grandchildren, 300 + great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 infant daughters, 1 stillborn son, 1 grandson, 9 great grandchildren, 1 brother - Glen Hochstetler, 2 sisters - Edna Chupp and Sylvia Lehman, 3 son-in-laws - Rueben Graber, Alvin Miller and George E. Shayler, 1 brother-in-law - john Chupp. Vistitation will be held on Monday April 19, 2010 after 4:00 P.M. and all day on Tuesday at the Eli W. Hochstetler residence. the funeral service will be held Wednesday April 21, 2010 at 9:30 A.M. at the Eli W. Hochstetler residence. Burial will be in Bloomfield Cemetery, LaGrange, IN.
