Mary N. Albergo, age 90, of 2135 S 445 E., LaGrange, IN died at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday January 31, 2010 at her residence. She was born on August 19, 1919 to John & Ethel (Burnyeat) Nicholas in Chicago, IL. She married Mario Albergo in Chicago, IL and he preceded her in death in 1980. She attended the Augustana Nursing School in Chicago, IL and received her degree and certification in nursing. She was employed as an RN at the Augustana Hospital in Chicago, Il and later went to work for The Bethesda Norweigen Nursing Home in Chicago, IL where she retired. After her retirement, Mary moved to Rohrer Lake in LaGrange, IN. She is survived by 1 son - Joe & (Cheryl) Albergo of LaGrange, IN. 1 daughter Elaine & (Ron) Becker of Niles, IL. 3 grandchildren - Joey Albergo, Francesca Albergo and Elin & (Ricky) Duarte. Visitation will be held at the Cumberland Chapel Funeral Home, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL on Friday February 5, 2010 from 3 to 9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday February 6, 2010 at 10:15 a.m. at the Cumberland Chapel.
