Grace V. Jenkot, age 84, of 0770 N 075 E, LaGrange, IN died Friday at 11:55 P.M. January 15, 2010 at Life Care Center of LaGrange. She was born in LaGrange, IN on June 21, 1925 to William O. & Gena R. (Randol) Draper. She married Henry Jenkot on October 29, 1949. He preceeded her in death in 1963. Grace was previously employed at Harvey Paper Co. in Sturgis, MI as a Secretary. She later became a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, sewing and making quilts for her family. She is survived by 2 daughters - Jim & Victoria S. (Rowe) Shrock of Kendallville, IN, Josephine K. Jenkot of Bronson, MI. 3 sons - George O. & Angie Jenkot of Howe, IN, Henry W. & Jan Jenkot of Durant, OK, Anthony & Irene Jenkot of Oscoda, MI. 1 Sister - Josephine Shrock of Howe, IN. 10 Grandchildred and 15 Great-Grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by her parents, husband, 3 sisters - Ida Mae Friesner, Frances Lung and Rosa Caldwell. 3 brothers - Donald Draper, Frank Draper and William Draper. 3 grandchildren - Carrie Rowe, Jamie Jenkot and George Morpeth. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday January 19, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Carney-Frost Funeral Home, LaGrange, IN with the Rev. Bernard Ramenaden of the St Gasper del Buffalo Parish, Rome City, IN officiating. Visitation will be on Monday January 18, 2010 from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at the funerla home. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, LaGrange, IN.
