Mildred O. Speicher, age 74, of 602 Hawpatch, LaGrange, Indiana died Saturday May 9, 2009 at 5:15 A.M. at her residence. She was born in Elkhart, Indiana on June 23, 1934 to Titus T. & Vera E. (Donat) Speicher. Mildred was employed at Needlecraft in Elkhart, Indiana as a Seamstress. She retired after 15 years of service. She enjoyed being a homemaker and taking care of her children. She is survived by; Her mother - Vera E. Speicher of LaGrange, Indiana. 1 Son - Bernard & Karen Nowak of South Bend, Indiana. 3 daughters - Wanda St. Louis of LaGrange, Indiana, Loretta Lintula of Edwardsburd, Michigan and Donna Nowak of Elkhart, Indiana. 3 brothers - Titus T. & Martha) Speicher Jr, Howard & Diane Speicher and Roger & Mary Speicher all of LaGrange, Indiana. 3 sisters - Vonnie Parks of Sturigs, Michigan, June & Merle Manor of LaGrange, Indiana and Karol Endres of LaCresenta, California. 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildre. She was preceeded in death by her father. Visitation will be held on Tuesday May 11, 2009 from 9-11 A.M. at the Carney-Frost Funeral Home in LaGrange, Indiana. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 11:00 A.M. Burial will be in Shore Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be given to: LaGrange County Hospice.
