Ardith B. Paulus, age 78 of LaGrange went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday May 3, 2009 at 2:05 P.M. at her home. She was born on March 26, 1931 in LaGrange, Indiana to Carleton & Ruth (Terry) Boyd. She married Robert C. Paulus on June 3, 1949. He preceeded her in death on October 24, 2001. Ardith was employed at the LaGrange Hospital as a Nurses Aide where she retired in 1992 after 25 years of service. She enjoyed reading, baking and her grandchildren. She was a member of the LaGrange Missionary Church. She is survived by 4 sons - Robert & (Jane) Paulus of LaGrange, Indiana, Jack Paulus of Fremont, Indiana, Terry Paulus of LaGrange, Indiana and Mark & (Deb) Paulus of LaGrange, Indiana. 2 daughters - Peggy & (Randy) Yeomans of Mendon, Michigan and Jayne & (Dan) Meinerts of Sioux Falls, Douth Dakota. 1 sister - Ann Huston of Mendon, Michigan. 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by her parents, husband, 1 twin brother - Arden Boyd and a brother - Terry Boyd. Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday May 6, 2009 at the funeral home. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thurday May 7, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with the Pastor Brent Danielson of the LaGrange Missionary Church officiating. According to her wishes, cremation will follow. Memorials may be given to the American Diabetes Associationor the American Heart Association.
