Keith B. Klopfenstein, age 83, of 917 S. Townline Road, LaGrange, Indiana died Thursday April 16, 2009 at 6:06 P.M. at his residence. He was born on December 19, 1925 in Woodburn, Indiana to Francis and Pearl (Bassett) Klopfenstein. He was previouly employed at Dana/Weatherhead Division in Angola, IN, retirning after 22 years of service in 1988. He was a former member of the First Missionary Church in Fort Wayne, IN. He enjoyed visiting the flea market in Shipshewana and was well known by everyone there. He was very knowledgable in antiques and enjoyed collecting a variety of original paintings. He also traveled around the state of Indiana to all he could about it's history. Surviving are 1 brother - Jerry Klopfenstein of Fort Wayne, IN. 2 sisters - Ruth Ann Williams of Bloomington, IN and Beth J. Schuster of Jackson, MI. 2 nephews - David & (Sue) Schsuter of Franklin, IN and Bruce & (Mikaele) Klopfenstein of Greenwood, IN. 4 nieces - Jenny & (Ron) Wilburn of Parma, MI, Cindy & (Steve) Hamstra of Bllomington, IN, Amy & (Matthew) Franklin of Columbus, OH and Brenda & (Richard) Harding of Warsaw, IN. 2 great nieces - Rebecca M. Freeman of Fort Wayne, IN and Jeddica Cartwright of Hudson, IN. He was preceeded in death by his parents in the 1970's and 1 sister - Treva Klopfenstein in 1945. A Memorial service will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Tuesday April, 21, 2009 at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service. The Rev.
