Mary K. Baird, age 76, of 787 N. Detroit St., LaGrange, Indiana died Monday February 9, 2009 at 1:00 A.M. at Miller's Merry Manor in LaGrange, Indiana. She was born in LaGrange, Indiana on May 4, 1932 to John & Valerie (Gray) Wood. She married Wilbur W. Baird on September 11, 1987 in LaGrange, Indiana. He preceeded her in death on October 25, 1994. Mrs. Baird was a homemaker all of her life. She is survived by; 2 daughters, Susan Smith of Sherwood, Michigan and Vicky Frisbee of Colon, Michigan. 3 sons; Richard Collins of Coldwater, Michigan - Ronald Fuller of Ft Wayne, Indiana and Russell Collins of Virginia. 1 sister-in-law, Maxine Wood of Howe, Indiana. 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by her parents, husband, 1 brother - John Wood Jr and 1 daughter - Kathryn Hasbrook. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday February 11, 2009 at 2:30 P.M. at Greenwood Cemetery, LaGrange, Indiana with the Pastor Brian VanOsdol of the First Church of God, LaGrange, Indiana officiating.
