William "Bill" Boyd Jr, age 84, of 611 S.
Townline Road, LaGrange, Indiana died at the LaGrange Parkview Hospital in LaGrange, Indiana at 8:19 P.M. on Sunday, November
16, 2008. He was born on August 10, 1924 to William & Clara (Chappel) Boyd Sr in LaGrange. He married Mary
Jane Stutzman on December 24, 1946 in LaGrange. Bill was the owner and operator of Boyd's Rubbish Hauling in LaGrange
for twenty years. After retiring in the early 1980's, he owned and operated a farm in LaGrange for fifteen
years. He loved rabbits and enjoyed gardening. He is survived by his wife
- Mary Jane Boyd of LaGrange, Indiana. 2 sons - Ben & (Twyla) Boyd of Rome City, Indiana and Ralph "Pete"
& (Charlotte) Boyd of Ligonier, Indiana. 3 daughters - Bonnie Lou & (Dan) Myers of Minong, WI, Joan S. &
(Keith) Shafer of Orland, Indiana and Catherine "Cathy" E. & (Dennis Blankenship) of LaGrange, Indiana.
2 sisters - Edna "Babe" M. Miller of Jones, Michigan and Retha Pike of Quincy, Michigan. 10 grandchildren
and 12 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 20,
2008 from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at Carney-Frost Funeral Home in LaGrange, Indiana. the funeral service will be at
1:00 P.M. on Thursday following visitation with the Pastor Jeff Farnham of the LaGrange Baptist Church officiating.
Burial will be in the Ontario Cemetery in Ontario, Indiana. Memorial Contributions can be made to the donor's choice.
