Gerald Lee (Fuzzy) Morris Sr., 69, of Marengo, Indiana died on December 26, 2019 at the Robley Rex Veterans Administration Medical Center in Louisville, Kentucky.  He was born on September 14, 1950 in Paoli, Indiana to the late Russell Guido and Marjorie Ellen (Atkins) Morris.

 

He was a building contractor, a Vietnam Navy Veteran, and a member of the Hardinsburg Assembly of God Church, Milltown American Legion Post #332, and the Patoka Bowhunters Club.

 

He is survived by his wife:  Mary E. (Terry) Morris; sons:  Gerald Morris Jr. (Judy) of Marengo, Indiana and Russell Morris (Jen) of English, Indiana; daughters:  Mary Ogelsby (Jamie) of Marengo, Indiana and Marjorie Morris (Ed) of Louisville, Kentucky; brothers:  Kevin Morris of Corydon, Indiana, Donnie Morris of English, Indiana, Doug Morris of New Albany, Indiana, Frank Dunn of Marengo, Indiana, and Jeremy Morris of Depauw, Indiana; sisters:  Sheila Lantz of Bicknell, Indiana, Joanna Bateman of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Brenda Miller of Marengo, Indiana, and Carmen Groves of Evansville, Indiana; grandchildren:  Jay Ogelsby, Caleb Oglesby, Eli Ogelsby, Jacob Morris (Bree), Coby Morris, Hailey Morris, Brittany Higdon, Jordan Barnes, and Kennedy Barnes; and a great-grandchild, Jeannie Higdon.

 

Funeral services will be on Monday, December 30, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana.  Interment will follow in the Batman Ridge Cemetery near Milltown, Indiana.

 

Visitation will be from 4-8 pm on Sunday, December 29, 2019 and after 9:00 am until time of the service at 1:00 pm on Monday, all at the funeral home.

 

Pastor Denzil Wiseman will officiate the service.

 

Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana is entrusted with the arrangements.
