Karen S. (Williams) Newkirk, 45, of Marengo, Indiana died on December 23, 2019 at Baptist Health- Floyd Hospital in New Albany, Indiana.  She was born on October 2, 1974 in Corydon, Indiana to the late Charles E. and Vivian I. (Dearborn) Williams.

 

She was a former cashier in retail sales and a member of the Tunnel Hill Free Methodist Church.

 

She is survived by her husband:  James C. Newkirk of Marengo, Indiana; sons:  Ryan Hunt (Elizabeth) of Tell City, Indiana, Kenneth Hunt, and Tyler Newkirk both of Marengo, Indiana; daughters:  Lisa Ennis of Louisville, Kentucky, Georgia Hunt of Marengo, Indiana, Charity Newkirk of Marengo, Indiana, and Traci Crecelius of English, Indiana; sisters:  Charlotte Keith of Hardinsburg, Indiana, Robin Lindsay of Corydon, Indiana, and Jeana Duzan of English, Indiana; grandchildren:  Elizabeth and Daniel Ennis, Zakya and Gavyn, and Saveyah Hunt, Jaeden, Elijah, and Ian Crecelius; and 2 step-grandchildren:  Mary and Liliana Havens.

 

Funeral services will be on Friday, December 27, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana.  Interment will follow in the Cook-Tucker Cemetery near English, Indiana.

 

Visitation will be on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until time of the service at 1:00 p.m., all at the funeral home.

 

Pastor T.C. Baker and Pastor Doug Byrum will officiate the service.

 

Memorial contributions can be made In Lieu of Flowers, to the funeral home to help with the cost of the funeral expenses.

 

Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana is entrusted with the arrangements.
