It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Phyllis Jean Dyer, 70 of Spring Grove, Pennsylvania, who left this world on September 22, 2019, with her family by her side.

She married Robert Dyer in 1992, and they lived together in Mars Hill, Maine and Marengo and Milltown, Indiana before relocating to Spring Grove, Pennsylvania.  Phyllis is survived by her husband, Robert Dyer, son Rich and his wife, Amy and their daughter, Isabella.  She is also survived by her three stepsons, Harley, and his daughter and sons Sonserae and Dakota, Jimmy and Harley; Todd and his wife, Chrissy and son and daughter, Levi and Joy; and Andy Dyer.  She is survived by her brother, Deen, and his wife, Pat and their son, Zach Shrout and her brother, Michael Shrout.

Phyllis was not only a wonderful wife and mother, but a grandmother who loved all of her grandchildren.  You could see the love she had for them when they were together.  She loved working on her crafts, which, to name a few, included making jewlery, mosaic tables, and paper mache.  She always put her mind to everything with which she was engaged, and never gave up.  Phyllis was a joy to be around and will truly be missed by all of her family and friends.

A memorial service will be on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home, 306 Spring Street, Milltown, Indiana  47145.
