Charles Dennis (Salty) Saltsgaver, 65, of Marengo, Indiana, died on September 4, 2019 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born on February 12, 1954 in Corydon, Indiana to Janice L. (Atkins) Saltsgaver and the late Charles E. Saltsgaver.
He was a former laborer for Schmidt Cabinets for 40 years and was of the Christian Faith.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles E. (Jack) Saltsgaver and a granddaughter, Dakota N. Saltsgaver.
He is survived by his mother, Janice L. Saltsgaver of Marengo, Indiana; son: Dennis E. Saltsgaver of Marengo, Indiana and step-son: Alan Melton of English, Indiana; daughter, Sharon F. Green (Garland) of Marengo, Indiana; and grandchildren: Shelbi Talley (Gabe), Alex Green, Desirea and Dayton Saltsgaver, and Dylan Davis.
Graveside services will be on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at the Marengo Cemetery. Bro. Mike Gillespie will officiate the service.
Casket Bearers will be Alex and Garland Green, Alan Melton, and Gabe Talley.
Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana is entrusted with the arrangements.
