Lucille L. Whitworth, 95, died on July 16, 2019 at Indiana Creek Healthcare in Corydon, Indiana. She was born on January 15, 1924 in Crawford County, Indiana to the late Willard and Lela (Benham) Luff.
She was a retired woodworker and a homemaker. She was a member of the Tunnel Hill Free Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lloyd Whitworth; her daughter, Janice Lucy; brothers: Morris, Farris and Hubert Luff; and sisters: Myrl Frazier, Bertie, Marie, and Phyllis Stepp.
She is survived by her six grandchildren and their spouses: Teri and Amos Mincey, Penny and Dale Rhoads, Dawn and Jonathan Smith, Twyla Robertson, Willow and Michael Martin, and Wade and Jessica Robertson; 16 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Kraft-Graceland Cemetery in New Albany, Indiana.
Visitation will be on Saturday from 10:00 am until time of the service at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Bro. Doug Byrum will officiate the service.
