Charles R. Drury, 88, of Hardinsburg, Indiana died on July 13, 2019 at his residence.  He was born on September 6, 1930 in Hardin County, Kentucky to the late Henry H. and Anna P. (Burch) Drury.

 

He was a farmer and a retired machinist for C. Lee Cooks for over 43 years.  He was a member of the Little Mission Church and International Association of Machinist.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Brenda K. Sieg; granddaughter- Angel Walton; grandson- Billy Drury; son-in-law, Curtis Moon; daughter-in-law: Marietta Drury; sisters:  Ann Richardson and Katherine Brown; a brother, Joe Drury; and three brother-in-laws:  Jim Richardson, Henry Brown, and George Hay.

 

He is survived by his wife:  Sarah Elizabeth (Martin) Drury of Hardinsburg, Indiana; sons:  William Robert Drury (Karen) of West Baden, Indiana, Randall Lee Drury (Shirley) and Charles E. Drury (Bonnie) both of Hardinsburg, Indiana, and Martin L. Drury (Alice) of Milltown, Indiana; daughters:  Sheryl (Sherry) F. Moon of Hardinsburg, Indiana, Sarah M. Pavey (Donnie)  and Beverly G. McCabe (Steve) both of Paoli, Indiana; son-in-law:  Dennis Sieg of Hardinsburg, Indiana; sister:  Rebecca Lois Hay of Eastview, Kentucky; 22 grandchildren, 59 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great-grandchildren.

 

The funeral service will be on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Little Mission Church, 5226 S. Co. Rd. 640 E. Hardinsburg, Indiana  47125.  Interment will follow in the Hardinsburg Cemetery.

 

Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 from 4-8 p.m. and after 9:00 a.m. until time of the service at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, all at the church.

 

Bro. George Key will officiate.
