Tony J. Poe, 61, of Marengo, Indiana, died on June 7, 2019 at his residence.  He was born on October 29, 1957 in Corydon, Indiana to the late Dallas Anthony and Grace Ellen (Jones) Poe.

He was a fork lift operator for Lucas Oil for 17 years and was former owner and operator of Poe Oil Company- Standard Service and Poe Trailer Court until 1996.  He was a member of the Milltown Masonic Lodge #661.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Carolyn Dian Wolf, and grandparents:  Bertha and Nolan Poe and William Leonard and Vertie Grace (Sutton) Jones.

He is survived by his wife:  Mildred L. (Preston) Poe of Marengo, Indiana; his daughter, Amber L. Poe of Marengo, Indiana; a sister, Sandra Burnett of Crandall, Indiana; a granddaughter, Brianna Grace Atwood of Terre Haute, Indiana; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.

A memorial service will be on Monday, June 17, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana.  Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until time of the service.
