James J. Harris, 68, died on June 4, 2019 at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon, Indiana. He was born on May 25, 1951 in New Salisbury, Indiana to the late Cecil and Gracie May (Adams) Harris.
He was a retired truck driver for Robertson’s Quarry.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son: Jamie P. Harris; brothers: Michael and Cecil D. Harris; and a sister: Joan Hacker.
He is survived by his daughters: Kelly M. Harris and Amanda K. Mundy both of Marengo, IN, and Tami M. Harris of Leavenworth, Indiana; brothers: Earl Harris of Marengo, IN, Larry Harris and Joe Harris both of New Salisbury, and Harold Harris of Depauw, IN; sisters: Marie Bolen, Mary Bary, and Louise Harris all of New Salisbury, IN, and Donna Harris of Jasper, IN; grandchildren: Jamie Harris, Noah Harris, Chelsie Mundy, Jada Mundy, Josiah Mundy, Lillian Mundy, Elijah Mundy, Daytona and Bristol Kirby; and a great-grandchild: Sophia Harris.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Woods Chapel Cemetery at a later date.
Visitation will be on Friday, June 7, 2019 from 3-8 pm and on Saturday after 9:00 am until time of the service, all at the funeral home.
Bro. Mark Manship will officiate the service.
