Peggy L. (Kemper) Spurling, 82, Marengo, Indiana, died April 3, 2019 at Todd-Dickey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on February 7, 1937 in Mansfield, Indiana to the late Joe Mooney and Grace Kemper.
She was a former bar tender and also a former LPN for Green Valley Care Center.
She is survived by her sons: James Spurling in Tell City, Indiana and Richard Brown of Louisville, Kentucky; a daughter, Joyce L. Kemp of Marengo, Indiana; 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jim Spurling; sons: Gary, Michael, Johnny, and Dave Brown; and a brother, Harold Kemper.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at 11:00 am at the Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Marengo Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Friday, April 5, 2019 from 4-8 pm and after 9:00 am until time of the service at 11:00 am on Saturday, all at the funeral home.
Bro. Morris Larimore will officiate the service.
