Phillip Ivan Sturgeon, 73, of English, Indiana, died on March 14, 2019 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born on March 22, 1945 in Floyd County, Indiana to the late Ivan and Alice (Chanley) Sturgeon.
He was a former machinist for Multi Metals in Louisville, Kentucky and a United States Marine, having served in Vietnam.
He is survived by his sons: Troy Sturgeon, Brian Sturgeon, and Brent Sturgeon all of Lanesville, IN, a daughter, Stephanie Sturgeon of New Albany, Indiana, and 9 grandchildren.
Cremation was chosen, following Mr. Sturgeon’s request.
Brown Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
