James Allen Bowen, 80, of Laconia, Indiana, died Monday, February 25, 2019, at his residence. He was born February 13, 1939, at St. Marys, Ohio, to Juanita Solomon Bowen and Claude Bowen, both of who have preceded him in death.
He was a Vietnam Navy Veteran.
James is also preceded in death by his wife, Edna Bowen, and his brothers, Steve, Bill and Larry Bowen.
He is survived by a sister, Nadine Aldredge; his children, Todd, Joseph, David, Kevin, Chris, Tammy, Christy, Amanda, Lori, Charmain, Deana and Tracy. James has a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren that survive him as well.
Cremation was chosen with no funeral or memorial service, as James had requested.
Brown Funeral Home in Milltown is entrusted with the arrangements.
