Mabel (Campbell) Shields, 94, of English, Indiana died on January 19, 2019 at Paoli Health and Living. She was born on March 22, 1924 in Hazard, Kentucky to the late Boyd and Zola (Kilburn) Campbell.
She was former owner and operator of the former Kountry Kitchen in Marengo, Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Shields; a great-granddaughter: Briana Leigh Gasaway; a sister: Gladys Campbell; and brothers: Lloyd, Roy, and Coy Campbell.
She is survived by her daughter, Oleda Wells of Whittier, NC; sisters, Wanda Faye Bradshaw of English, IN and Dixie Graves of Bristow, Indiana; grandchildren: Lowell R. Gasaway and Ron Hill; great-grandchildren: Damon Hill and Jason Hill.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at 1:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home in Millltown, Indiana. Cremation will follow the service.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am until time of the service at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, at the funeral home.
Bro. Doug Byrum will officiate the service.
