Donna J. Henderson, 69, of English, Indiana died on January 13, 2019 at Baptist Health- Floyd. She was born on September 27, 1949 in Barbourville, Kentucky to the late Vernon and Margaret (Boggs) Carmack.
She was a homemaker and attended the Holy Mount Church near Alton, Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband: Richard E. Sheckells; a grandson: Brandon R. Sheckells; and a great-grandchild: James.
She is survived by husband, Donald Henderson of English, IN; sons: Virgil R. Sheckells of Alton, IN and Vernon D. Sheckells of English, IN; a daughter, Jennifer M. Helton of Alton, IN; a brother, Vincent Carmack of New Albany, IN; 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at 1:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, IN. Interment will follow in the East Cemetery near Alton, Indiana.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 from 4-8 pm and on Wednesday after 9:00 am until time of the service, all at the funeral home.
Bro. Marvin Culver will officiate the service.
Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana is entrusted with the arrangements.
