Everett E. Van Winkle, 79, of English, Indiana died on September 20, 2018 at Jasper Memorial Hospital and Health Services. He was born on December 8, 1938 in Union Town, Indiana to the late Havard Van Winkle and Nora Enlow Cummins.
He spent his life working outside, farming and helping his brother at the fish hatchery.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Tom Van Winkle.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Sherrian K. (Gott) Van Winkle of English, IN; sons, Alan and Keith Van Winkle both of English, IN; daughters, Debra Mullins of English, IN and Delaine King of Marengo, IN; a sister, Bonnie Cooper of Cairo, Georgia; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Cremation was chosen following Everett’s wishes. There will be no services.
Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana was entrusted with the arrangements.
