Shannon Dale Haney, 64, of English, Indiana died on August 18, 2018 at his residence.  He was born on August 8, 1954 in Corydon, Indiana to the late John G. and Velvia M. Bentley Haney.

 

He was a former construction superintendent for Sullivan and Cozart in Louisville, Kentucky.  He was a member of the Marengo United Methodist Church, Crawford County Cattlemen’s Association, and Carpenters Union # 84 in Louisville, Kentucky.

 

He is survived by his wife, Robin B. (Lee) Haney of English, IN; sons, Matthew A. Haney of Louisville, Kentucky and Devon A. Haney (Jamie) of Corydon, IN; a brother, John Haney of Florida; sisters, Sharon Dunn of Central, IN, Charlotte Handzel of Cottage Grove, WI, and Joni Heishman of Corydon, IN; and grandchildren, Scarlett and Mila Haney.

 

The funeral service will be on Friday, August 24, 2018 at 1:00 pm at the Marengo United Methodist Church.

 

Visitation will be on Thursday, August 23, 2018 from 4-8 pm and after 10:00 am until time of the service on Friday all at the Marengo United Methodist Church.

 

Pastor Jill Kaetzel will officiate the service.

 

Interment will follow in the El Bethel Cemetery at a later date.

 

Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana is entrusted with the arrangements.
