Peggy J. Walts Bell, 62, of Milltown, Indiana died on June 11, 2018 at Baptist Health- Floyd in New Albany, Indiana.  She was born on September 17, 1955 in Harrison County, Indiana to the late William Hedric and Opal L. McIntosh Walts.

 

She was a former teacher of 34 years for the Crawford County School Corporation and was a member of the English Church of God.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents and her father-in-law:  Earl J. Bell.

 

She is survived by her husband:  Wade D. Bell of Milltown; daughters, Kara Fraley (Daniel) of Leavenworth and Kayla Kreilein (Nathan) of Indianapolis; a brother, David E. Wright of Marengo; a sister, Becky Walts of Marengo; grandchildren, Clayton and Aidan Sheckells and Kimberly and Emmett Fraley; and her mother-in-law:  Norma Bell of Marengo.

 

Funeral services will be on Friday, June 15, 2018 at 1:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home, Milltown, Indiana.  Interment will follow in the El Bethel Cemetery near Milltown, IN.

 

Visitation will be on Thursday, June 14, 2018 from 4-9 pm and after 9:00 am until the time of the service on Friday, all at the funeral home.

 

Pastor Joyce Beasley and Bro. Ron Dunlap will officiate.

 

Casket Bearers will be Clayton Sheckells, Nick Stroud, Taten and Trenton Arnold, Clayton Sauer, Daulton Stout, Daniel Fraley, and Nathan Kreilein.  Honorary casket bearers will be Aiden Sheckells, David Wright, and Keith McIntosh.

 

Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimers Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, D.C.  20090-6011 or alz.org and/or to the Southern Indiana Animal Rescue, 512 E. Maple Street, Jeffersonville, IN  47130.
