Donald J. Ridener, 83, of English, Indiana died on March 4, 2018 at Baptist Health- Floyd.  He was born on June 29, 1934 in Crawford County, Indiana to the late Sterling E. and Nancy Elizabeth Goforth Ridener.

 

He was a former employee for Hoosier Panel and a member of the Old Union Christian Church near Sulphur, IN.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers:  Estil, Jesse, and William Ridener.

 

He is survived by his wife, June Nance Ridener of English, IN; a son, Donald J. Ridener of Sulphur, IN; daughters, Deborah J. Eastridge (Steve) of Grantsburg, IN and Sherry L. Chancey (Tim) of Sulphur, IN; a sister, Reva Petri of New Albany, IN; grandchildren:  Jeanie (Marty), Kandy, April (Josh), Samuel (Sara), and Kristy (Robert); and 10 great grandchildren.

 

Funeral services will be on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at 1:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, IN.  Interment will follow in the Cedar Cemetery in Leavenworth, IN.

 

Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 from 4-8 pm and after 10:00 am until time of the service all at the funeral home.

 

Bro. Bryan Martin will officiate the service.

 

Arrangements are under the direction of the Brown Funeral Home, Milltown, Indiana.

Cole, Jeanie, Kandy, April and to all of the family,
My deepest condolences to all of you during this time of loss. My biggest hope is that when your Grandpa enters through the gates of Heaven Scott is there to welcome him.
