Shirley Jean Roby Hanover, 70, of Marengo, IN died on January 28, 2017 at Baptist Health- Floyd in New Albany, IN. She was born on September 22, 1946 in Orange County, Indiana to the late Wilson and Mabel Atkins Roby.
She was a former farm laborer for the former Hudson Foods in Corydon, IN. She was a member of the Mt. Zion Brethen In Christ Church near Milltown, IN.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harley Hanover; and a brother, Donnie Roby.
She is survived by her sons, Jerry Lee Hanover of Hardinsburg, IN and Billy Ray Hanover of English, IN; daughters, Pamela S. Donnelly of Marengo, IN and Vicki L. Hanover of Milltown, IN; a brother, Ronald Roby of Marengo, IN; and 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Funeral Services will be on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, IN.
Visitation will be from 4-8 pm on Monday, January 30, 2017 and after 9:00 am until time of the service on Tuesday all at the funeral home.
Bro. George Elam will officiate the service.
Interment will follow in the Union Chapel Cemetery near Grantsburg, IN.
