Gene A. Simpson, 54, of Milltown, IN died on September 17, 2016 at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon, IN. He was born on November 4, 1961 in New Albany, IN to the late Cecil Adkins and Helen Maxine Dunn Crecelius.
He was a former boiler operator for the Stemwood Corporation in New Albany, IN.
He is survived by his wife, Tina A. Bailey Simpson of Milltown, IN; sons, Gene A. Simpson Jr. (Martha) of Milltown, IN, Brian and Douglas Roby both of English, IN; a daughter, Ellen Wright (Tommy) of English, IN; a brother, Chris Crecelius of Bloomington, IN; a sister, Alice Lone of Marengo, IN; and grandchildren, Kayleigh Dooley, Branden Wright, and Billie Roby.
The services will be private.
