Patsy L. Smith, 77, of Sulphur, IN died on Sunday, June 5, 2016 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY.  She was born on January 18, 1939 in Mifflin, IN to the late Forrest J. and Nellie G. Goldman Jackson.

 

She was a former hotel manager at the Carefree Days Inn.  She was a member of the Carefree Christian’s Missionary Church.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, C. Dean, Gary P., and Earl E. Jackson.

 

She is survived by her husband, Ernest D. Smith; sons, Clifford D. and John E. Smith both of Sulphur, IN; a daughter, Teresa L. Williams of Corydon, IN; brothers, Larry N. Jackson of Columbus, OH and F. Kevin Jackson of Boonville, IN; a sister, Mary S. Goldman of Jeffersonville, IN; grandchildren, Chad N. Smith, Amanda E. Myers, Lauren A. Smith and Ethan F. Smith; and 4 great-grandchildren.

 

A graveside service will be on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Riddle Cemetery near Beechwood, IN.

 

Bro. Morris Larimore will officiate the service.

 

Interment will follow in the Riddle Cemetery.

 

Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, IN is entrusted with the arrangements.

I remember as being a beautiful, caring person who took great care of her family. She spread the word of God here on this earth and will be greatly missed, but can now join her family in heaven
